Anise hyssop is a favorite perennial herb of many as the crushed leaves smell like licorice, and they make herbal teas. Agastache foeniculum has dark blue-green leaves with whitish lower surfaces and tall spikes of lavender-blue flowers that attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It can be grown as an annual or perennial. Native to northern US it is hardy in zones 5-10. Mature height is 36"
